Drummers: Lifting Each Other Up
Drummers: Lifting Each Other Up |
I just got back from this marketing conference in Phoenix, AZ. I know… “Marketing Conference”… sounds exciting. right? Well as it turns out, the experience was life-changing.
I was just blown away, not by the workshops that I attended, but how this community of like-minded individuals all worked together to help one another succeed.
These people were a huge mix of all ages, races, and businesses. But none of that mattered. There was just this huge sense of camaraderie and support. You couldn’t stand there in one spot for 2 minutes without someone coming up to you and introducing themselves, interested in what you were doing and how they can help.
It was truly inspiring…So I thought… WOW, this is how I want the TDA community to be. Us drummers are so isolated, working all alone in our basements and practice rooms… It’s a tough journey and it’s even harder when you have to make it alone.Well, I’d like to end that loneliness STARTING NOW! …but I really need your help ’cause I’m not sure how to do it. lolSo I’ve created this message and sending it out into the universe to see what I get back.leave me your suggestions in the comments… Let’s see what kind of out-of-the-box ideas you can come up with.
