  • Kurt Risch says:

The slower tempos are great for muscle development. I think it’s especially helpful for us old traditional grippers.

  • Kurt Risch says:

Got through the first two rounds well enough, but I don’t have the upper gear needed for the last round once I reach three in a row.

  • Michael Schmidt says:

I’m sure this tempo is considered slow for a more experience player, but as someone without a lot of endurance built up a slower tempo would be nice, especially with the 16ths stretching over several minutes.

    • jsonic23 says:

Agreed, Michael… I plan on going back and filling in all of these tempos. Ultimately I plan on at least 6 tempos per exercise. Some will have more… like the speed exercises.

    • Jay Fenichel says:

I’m working on adding to the informal accents unit, then I plan to move to this unit and fill in some of those tempo gaps.

  • Glenn Hamilton says:

    What a workout!

    • Jay Fenichel says:

I have a couple of new tempos recorded for this… Gonna roll it out when Greg and I do an update. Angelo asked for smaller jumps in between tempos… let me know which exercises you’d like me to concentrate on.

      • Glenn Hamilton says:

All of the foot exercises and single strokes. Doubles are easier for me. Speaking of feet, it’s hard to imagine how much harder it is for me to get speed heel up.

  • Glenn Hamilton says:

    80. Yeah! Not perfect but it’s a challenge.

  • Glenn Hamilton says:

Did 70, 80, 90, 100bpm in sequence. Remembered mama dada. That made a difference!
